What is the Collect Hub, you might be wondering, and it’s a great question, because it’s a brand new and 100% unique way of fundraising!
In short, it’s a unified, public webpage where your organization can promote your selected open fundraising collections. It’s a free online page where your initiatives and causes can be discovered by new and returning donors alike.
Each fundraiser collection will have its own dedicated fundraising page, with the image and description that was provided in the collection creation process. The amount raised and number of donors will appear, with buttons for easy sharing and donation.
If your organization has Sub Accounts with Crowded, each account will appear on the page, and donors can click into each account and see what fundraisers those accounts have open.
It’s proven that donors are more likely to make a donation when they can choose the cause that they feel the most connected to!
So let’s get into it!
Creating Your Collect Hub
Showcase your organization’s important initiatives with dedicated fundraising links. The more the merrier!
Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating and adding fundraising links to your Collect Hub.
- Log in to Crowded on the web or mobile app
- Click “Create a Collection”
- When asked to pick a collection type, select ‘Fundraiser’
- Once you name the fundraiser, you will see the option to “Add to Collect Hub”.
- Toggle the switch next to “Add to Collect Hub” to make that fundraiser appear on your public fundraising page
- Finish creating the collection, and the fundraiser will appear on the page!
If you decide later that you’d like to add a fundraiser to your organization’s Collect Hub, follow these steps.
- Go to the Collections dashboard
- Find the fundraiser you’d like to add to the Collect hub
- Under the Actions column, click the plus sign.
And voila! That fundraiser will now appear on your Collect Hub!
Where to Find Your Org’s Collect Hub
From the Collection’s dashboard, you can see, enable and disable the live online page.
Once you add fundraisers to the hub, ensure that the Hub is enabled, and take a look to make sure everything looks as it should!
Showcasing Your Org’s Initiatives
Create a fundraiser collection for each of your organization’s initiatives for your Collect Hub to allow your donors to choose where specifically they want to contribute. It’s proven to raise more donations!
On your organization’s website and social media pages, link your Collect Hub to let donors see all your fundraisers at once to a “Donate” button or your link in bio on your social media pages.
